01Scope
This policy describes how YOURBRANDALLY (“YBA,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal information when you visit yourbrandally.com, use our calculator, book an audit, or engage us as a client. It applies globally and complies with GDPR, CCPA, and India's DPDP Act where relevant.
02What we collect
We collect only the data we need to deliver the service.
- Information you give us: name, work email, company, role, marketplace context — voluntarily provided through the audit form, contact form, or calendar booking.
- Information generated by use: calculator inputs (stored locally in your browser), audit form responses, support correspondence.
- Technical data: IP address, device, browser, page-view timestamps. Anonymized after 30 days.
- Client operational data: for engaged clients only — Seller Central reports, ad accounts, catalogue files, P&L exports — accessed under a signed Master Services Agreement and Data Processing Addendum.
03How we use it
We use the information to:
- Respond to inquiries and deliver requested audits or proposals.
- Operate, optimize, and report on engagements for clients.
- Improve the calculator, the website, and internal benchmarking models (always anonymized and aggregated).
- Send occasional, opt-in only updates (the Friday memo). One click to unsubscribe, every email.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your data, ever. We do not use your data to train third-party AI models. We do not run behavioral retargeting against your site visit.
04Who we share with
We share data only with vetted infrastructure partners who help us run the business — under written DPAs:
- Hosting & CDN: Vercel (US/EU regions).
- Email & calendar: Google Workspace.
- Booking: Calendly.
- Analytics: Plausible (cookieless, EU-hosted).
- Client data only: Notion, Slack, AWS S3 — within named engagement scopes.
We do not share data with advertisers, data brokers, or retargeting networks.
05Retention
Inquiry data is retained for 24 months and then deleted unless you become a client. Client engagement data is retained for the engagement plus 6 years for legal/tax compliance, then permanently deleted. Anonymized aggregates may be retained indefinitely for benchmarking.
06Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data — and to object to processing or withdraw consent at any time. Email privacy@yourbrandally.co.in and we'll respond within 14 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
07Cookies
We use no third-party cookies. Plausible analytics is cookieless and tracks aggregate page views only. Local storage is used by the calculator to remember your last inputs — clearable from your browser.
08Changes
If we materially change this policy, we'll email everyone with an active account and post a notice for at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
